I’m a few months away from 60 and have spent my life alternating between electric razors and regular blades. It’s a sickness. Lately I’m back to electrics. I used one of the panasonics and found the head was simply too large. Back to my umpteenth Braun. I’ve also used Norelco’s and the inability to define is too frustrating. This is clearly my favorite shaver. It works well no matter the length of your beard and the head is exactly the right size. The cleaning solution part is nice too. When they first came out with that on one of the older models, I found it too gimmicky. I’ve changed my mind. It does help to maintain the shaver. I’m sure that I will continue to alternate manual versus electric because I get bored easily, and there’s a time and a place for each, but this is the best electric out there.
